One snowy night patrolling the DMZ between North and South Korea, shivering in subzero wind chills, with propaganda blasting from loudspeakers, I promised myself that if I ever made it out, I would do what I love most: telling stories through film. In that moment, I realized how powerful a well-crafted story can be, capturing emotion that words alone cannot.
The military taught me that serving the mission isn’t about being the hero, it’s about having everyone’s back. That’s the philosophy I bring to editing. Whether I’m diving into hours of dailies, untangling messy syncs, shaping character tone, or crafting music-driven montages, I thrive on creating order and emotion so the story, and the storytellers can shine.
From major professional sports leagues to marketing agencies, I’ve navigated fast-paced, high-pressure environments, building workflows, organizing projects, and stepping seamlessly between assistant and lead editor roles. My goal is always the same: to collaborate, problem-solve, and bring visions to life, from stories that move people, evoke emotion, and leave a lasting impact.
Let’s craft stories that move people, stir emotion, and leave goosebumps.
